Playing Dress Up

For Christmas, Grandpa Phil bought Kylie some dress up clothes. So now everytime we watch one of her Tinker Bell movies, Kylie wants to be a Fairy as well. Too Cute!

Here I go again, getting ever so far behind in my blogging. Here is a little bit of what we did for our Christmas in San Angelo.

This year we spent the week with BigBud, MeMe, Jennifer, Waleed & Maren. What a week it was! We spent quite a bit of time with the "Bevos" trying to master the technique of riding them. Well at least Kylie and Maren did. We spent many of our mornings trying to figure out crossword puzzles from the newspaper which in turn took up part of the day and the evenings too. Come to think of it, I don't think we ever finished a single one. We also were able to take the kidlets to see the Christmas lights down at the park. It's amazing how pretty they are each year and how the displays seem to keep growing. What fun it is to look forward to the event each year.

Kylie was also able to make cookies for Santa this year. She loved every minute and took extra care when adding the sprinkles. She must have done a good job since Santa left her a pink 4-wheeler under the tree. Enjoy the pics!!!

Kylie had her first school program on Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church. We are so proud of her for singing each of the songs and for not getting too shy. Time sure does fly by. Now that the program is over she still spends each day singing "Jesus Loves Me this I know for the Bible tells me so". Too cute!

Trunk or Treat!

Game Day! Ky must be bummed to be missing the BEVO game, just look at her face!

It's my chocolate Daddy!

Every year on Halloween we attend Trunk or Treat put on by our church. They have expanded and now use part of the parking lot next to GattiTown. It is such an awesome idea, instead of traveling from door to door in neighborhoods of people we do not know, we walk around and visit cars parked in a semi-circle with trunks decorated and loaded down with candy! (Inside the semi-circle are games, music, etc...) The best thing is, we know all of these wonderful people so we can focus on good family fun and not "Scary Halloween Things" as Ky refers to the neighborhood decorations now! Here are some pics of us playing and eating dinner at GattiTown afterward.

Pumpkin Patch!

I know, it has been forever since I have posted anything. I don't have much but with the Holiday's fast approaching I am sure there will be lots to come. Last week we went to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out our pumpkins for this year. Ky picked out two, one to carve and one to decorate with her silly faces decorations. As soon as we carve it we will post some more pics!

Labor Day Weekend

Since Cody had to work Dove Hunters this last weekend, Kylie and I went to see MelMel and Papa. Kylie had so much fun, it was like a mini vacation for me. Kylie would follow Papa around everywhere he went and I got to curl up and read. What fun! On Saturday, MelMel, Ky and I went to the parade in Tarpley. It was just the right size for Ky and of course we went home with tons of candy. YEAH! Here are some pics.

Mother's Day Out

On Wednesday, Kylie started her first day of Mother's Day Out. She was so excited! She got dressed, helped pack her lunch and let Daddy take her picture all decked out and ready to go. She seems to love it. She comes home telling us all sorts of things and has even started a binder to keep all of her "Schoolwork" in. She's so grown up!
